Feature request: Set target position of the element which can be scrolled to

I am missing the possibility to set a fixed position where the dom should be scrolled to, when a navigation item is clicked.

Sorry for the delay, somehow this missed me in my inbox and I don't use Github for work so I'm hardly on here. Can you please explain more what you mean by fixed position? The script finds the positions of the headings you want to include and scrolls to them using their position in the dom. If you're looking to scroll to a specific fixed position, I don't know that scrollnav is the right tool, unless I'm misunderstanding you.
