I think my problem was the same. You need to download retroarch _with_cores zip and extract in you hakchi2 folder. I put it in the user mods. https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/

When you dropped it in the hakchi2 did it say replace a file? If yes then u need to uninstall retroarch from the snes with the hakchi2 app then install...
