Migrate away from Jasmine?

I've been doing a work on revamping the test suite and I've found Jasmine to be pretty hard to work with. However, it's possible it is possible I feel that because I have little experience with it, so I'm interested in seeing if anyone else has had this feeling.

Personally, I would like to migrate to Mocha, though I would be open to trying out either Jest or Ava.

Jest is based on Jasmine. Jasmine by Pivotal like JSUnit is the base of most test frameworks.

What are the issues that you faced?
