I get this on both libera.chat and oftc.net, so I suspect the certificates in the base image are expired.

It probably just needs a rebuild on the latest updated base image, which I can do - but as this is a public image I suspect it needs to be repushed to the docker registry from here.

Ah, indeed that does seem like the issue.

Apologies for the neglect of this Docker image, but I stopped maintaining it quite a few years ago when the ZNC developers created their own image which also had support for module compilation on startup. It seems since then it has been elevated to an official Docker image even: https://hub.docker.com/_/znc

I'd suggest you give the official image a try if it's not too much hassle. But I will put aside some time to update my image to address the certificate issue, and also to add a deprecation warning to the readme, which I should have done years ago 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the update, don't worry - my server has probably been using your image since it was created and nothings gone wrong before - so I've only just hit it now that certs weren't letting me in ;-)

I'll try swapping to the 'official' image.
