[REQUEST] When is the DPI Chnage going to be implemented?

Is the DPI Fix going to be implemented for split screen on unsupported devices?

I managed to do it manually. Howver having a slider to set dpi from 0 to 120 would be nice.

Can you tell me how did you change DPI to change resolution? Some instructions would be nice.

  1. Patch your Android Auto with the built in script. This will create a backup gal.json file in the SD card
  2. Rename it to gal_bak.json to have it as a backup
  3. Patch your android Auto again with the script. This will create a patched gal.json as a backup on the Sd card.
  4. Edit the gal.json that was created and change the DPI setting to 100. Use Notepad or similar
  5. Restore gal.json using the restore script from the Android Auto patch in order to load the patched and dpi changed gal.json to the system.

Closed because with the methodmentioned in https://github.com/jilleb/mib2-toolbox/issues/184#issuecomment-1104185308 its already possible to change this
