Tracker "access" control?
Is it possible to extend this modul to limit access to a tracker by group?
I want to have a CodeReview tracker which should not be visible to clients but only to the devs in our company. At first I thought this module would help but it "only" disables creation of new tickets but not the visibility of the whole tracker.
@oderwat Did you find solution? We have same task.
Unfortunately not. In the end we first used reviewboard and no tracker at all. That worked but got to verbose somehow. Then we migrated the repository to GitHub and use this for feature branches and code review. In the next month we also move away from redmine and use taiga.io which makes it easier for the client and us to have an overview while still letting us develop "in the background".
The main intension of this plugin is to stop accidentally creating wrong trackers ( e.g feature by qa team) , not hide some information from different stake holders in the project. I agree with your specific requirement, but still not sure whether we need to handle in this plugin or not.
Hey @jijeshmohan thanks for your work! Actually I think that limiting access to a tracker should be natively supported anyway. I am not sure if a recent version of Redmine picked that up though.
@oderwat Yes I do remember seeing something like that.
There are some request for this issue in Redmine feature list request, but recent version does't have natively support. I found another redmine plugin
thanks MikeSam, I need it and I'll try
@MikeSam Please, recommend the same (redmine_tracker_accessible) plugin for redmine version 3.1.
@zfilin Sorry I can't recommend any other plugin. Project redmine_tracker_accessible seems not supported.
It is sad. =(((
Hello! Please check a new plugin for Redmine that hides issues under certain tracker for certain role/user within a project. https://github.com/atlascoder/tracker_hider
