NoSuchMethodError: getSettings()

When I try to include a Mathview in my app, the display panel reports a rendering problem, and says that io.github.kexanie.library.MathView cannot be instantiated because the getSettings() method is not found

Please update your Android Studio to v3.x and your issue will be solved.
