Cannot delete emergency admin account

Summary

We created an emerge account and would like to delete it, but it is not possible

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Login as emergency admin account
2. Go to My Account
3. Enter the current password
4. Click Delete account...
5. Confirm

Result: Error: Your password is incorrect. Exactly same password (from clipboard) was just used to login.

Cronicle software version?

Are you using a multi-server setup, or just a single server?

Are you using the filesystem as back-end storage, or S3/Couchbase?

Can you reproduce the crash consistently?

You probably need to restart cronicle (if you created that account when it was up). Although it might be a better idea to create a different admin account from UI, and then remove that emergency one from admin section.
