problem in using .env file

I initialized my project with create-mf-app and now I'm trying to add .env file to my project. When I want to use an environment, I get the below error : Uncaught ReferenceError: process is not defined

I've searched and tried some solutions and none of them is working. I would appreciate it if you can help me with this matter. Thank you

@MinooTavakoli The issue should be fixed for all frontend applications
