Subfolders 🤯
Love TagGUI!
I have only just realized that it picks up subfolders too 🤯🤦
This might be obvious or standard for the tools, but was something I couldn't figure out. The GUI doesn't show folder names.
My suggestions:

tweak the dialogue title "to load images from" to "to load images and subfolders from"

Likely don't need to display subfolder name for your purposes, but could consider placed after image count.

I had no idea you have context menus 🤯 as there are HUGE areas of context-dead space. It might be trivial to default to displaying the 'View' context menu if it isn't defined? In your Readme, it's only mentioned tucked after keyboard commands rather than first thing after 'Controls' saying "we have keyboard commands and right click commands".

the Images listing context menu particularly is great - getting the path from here to follow-up a suspect image folder path 👌

would it be easy to apply the same popup for right-clicking the Image preview (ie inside the larger Image preview panel frame)? Having multiple ways to access this is ideal if that view is closed.

All Tags pane seems to be missing obvious a context menu but you likely haven't built one so thats ok 😊
