Describe the bug

I use caps lock as an extra control key. Remapped at the OS level. It works with ctrl-click + drag to copy an element, but does not seem to work with ctrl-c or ctrl-v in drawio and only drawio.

  • the regular ctrl keys on the keyboard work fine for ctrl-c and ctrl-v
  • I can use ctrl-c and ctrl-v with the remapped caps lock key in other applications with no issue

  • draw.io version 26.1.1
  • drawio Desktop
  • installed via drawio nix package (permalink)
  • Linux Mint 22
  • kernel version Linux 6.8.0-87-generic

I tested the problem in incognito/private mode with all browser extensions switched off, write "yes" below:

  • N/A -> drawio desktop
