Describe the bug When using the background color feature, the application does not retain the last selected color after the feature is deactivated and then reactivated. The background color reverts to a default or unselected state, requiring the user to reselect their preferred color each time. This behavior can be confusing for users, especially if they expect the application to remember their previous settings. It may lead to extra steps and reduce workflow efficiency.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Activate the background color feature.
  2. Select a specific color.
  3. Deactivate the background color feature.
  4. Reactivate the background color feature.

Expected behavior The previously selected background color should be restored when the feature is reactivated, providing a consistent and intuitive user experience.
