Create issues directly from dashboard

It would be great to be able to create issues directly from the dashboard

Seconded, a simple form which justs sets the title, and optionally some of the other fields (description, hours, assignee).

On second thought, and working with other solutions (Trello, Taiga) to see their workflow, I would recommend sticking to creating with the title only.

The workflow for "fast" issues is mostly to enter a global overview of the work required, as described by the titles of the issues. I would add that it might be interesting to allow bulk add as well, in the form of comma or line separated titles.

In an ideal world, we would be able to create issues on context. Per example, pressing a hotkey when an issue is selected will create a new card with the selected issue as parent. Contexts could be swimlane, column or card.
