This problem always happens when I use "\" (new line ) in latex.

We currently don't have anything corresponding to a line break in the Exp structure. \\ is handled properly in arrays and similar environments, but not when it occurs outside of them.

You can use an aligned environment to get the output you want.

We could change formula to stop at \\ and produce an EArray, I suppose.

Contemplating adding an ELine element. However, I can't figure out how to get m:brk working in Word as documented. (Even the example from the OMML spec doesn't render properly.)
