Conflict with Custom Attachment Location

Open Jacobparresgold opened this issue 10 months ago • 1 comments

I like to use the plugin Custom Attachment Location, which allows for automatic renaming & organizing of attachments dragged or pasted into Obsidian. In my case, I simply have it rename images as image-${date:YYYYMMDDHHmmssSSS}, and save to a folder called "media" within the current folder (./media)

This plugin works normally for me until I enable Paste Mode. Regardless of which paste mode I'm in, if I try to use Ctrl + V to paste in a copied image, it will save it using the default Obsidian settings (in the ./media folder, as "Pasted Image YYYYMMDDxxxxxx").

Here is an example Vault that replicates the issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/109EhtJxclg7-UbhMgrPX5UrdWfv9UDfL/view?usp=sharing

Versions: Obsidian: 1.8.4 Paste Mode: 5.0.2 Custom Attachment Location: 6.0.0

There is also a conflict with https://github.com/xRyul/obsidian-image-converter

That plugin controls file name of pasted image. With paste mode NOT in passthrough mode, the image is inserted, then the other plugin is called. Which leads to two inserted images.

Even when I change from text back to passthrough the issue remains until Obsidian is restarted.
