Vault note location
the right hand side of the git page it says daily or new note but in the docs it says daily or weekly. On the face of it, I can't see that clipping stuff has anything to do with your daily notes but maybe I am wrong. A new note with a give tag or in a given folder in the vault would make the most sense to me. What's the story?

And that's a great reason but since you already went out of your way to add very detailed functionality to configure how to add content to a daily / weekly note as well as the very limited "store notes in a domain note" setting - wouldn't it be a lot more flexible for everyone to also allow a simple "Save in New note in: [enter folder here]" and maybe a "Use this template for naming the new note: [....]" setting?
With those two you'd probably cover 99% of most users needs in terms of where and how to create their clippings.
