Typing into URL bar brings up search box and removes focus from URL bar, which prevent you from typing!

The history search feature appears as soon as you try and type into the URL bar. This isn't bad, but the problem is that it removes the focus from the URL bar, so typing more letters no longer appears in the URL bar. This makes it essentially impossible to try and type a URL or hostname in. See this animation:

Consider keeping the text cursor focus in the URL bar, so a user can properly type in a URL
