Self made character or shape are not visible

I think your saved file is corrupted. My suggestion is

1. Close your ScratchJR
2. go to /Documents/ScratchJR
3. Find the scratchjr.sqllite
4. If there is important work, backup the file by rename to anything other than scratchjr.sqllite If there is nothing important, just delete that file.
5. Launch ScratchJR, check if it fixed.
