If I were to add a headphone jack were would I solder it to? I am thinking about using this one.

Hi! Well, I'm not sure if the jack that you're thinking to use fits inside the enclosure, but if you think that it's possible or you can find something a little bit smaller, you need to do the next:

  • Solder directly to the driver it's very difficult due to the pads are very small, so I suggest to first unsolder the speaker.
  • Once you have unsoldered the speaker, these are the sound output pads: image

I think that the easiest way, is to add a pair of wires and place the jack on the bottom part of the enclosure because the front has very little space available and might be a real challenge to fit a jack there. Also, I think that can help you a little see the 3D model of the enclosure to visualize the internal space. https://github.com/jfm92/microByte_case/tree/2df587d479643be42f094e5c9a5782840cb68b26/Enclosure

I hope this message can help you and I'm anxious to see your experiment!
