Invisible/inaudible torpedos. Outdated client on homepage?

When I join my server via the wpilot homepage, I cannot see the torpedoes and I don't get sound for them either (in Safari, Firefox and Chrome on OS X).

When joining the server by using the client at http://pax.mosquito.net:8000/ the torpedoes are visible and the sound is audible.

I'm experiencing this issue as well with Chrome and Firefox on Windows 7.
