Streaming profiles?

Is there a way to force antennas to use a certain streaming profile from tvheadend?

Thanks

I've never used streaming profiles, and I'm not sure how that works. Is that not something that gets configured from the Tvheadend side of things?

I'm actually not too sure how they work either, but I noticed that a Olympics recording from Plex yesterday was in 1080i and using mpeg2, so i'd rather it not be in that format if possible haha.

I'd look into Tvheadend stream profiles, and see if you can set them for the channels (or as a default for streams) for the quality you want, and also, in to the "Convert Video while Recording" setting on Plex.

In the meantime, I'll leave this open, as I think there might need to be some work to investigate if setting a transcoder quality for with Tvheadend through Antennas is feasible.

Profiles should be no problem. You can configure the user that authentificate in tvheadend for antennas to use only one streaming profile. If I do so, tvheadend will start transcoding but breaks up after few seconds with this error message:

webui: Couldn't start streaming /stream/channel/3961360b523f3400e39305c2c6ad741d?weight=300?transcode=none, No input detected

But input is present. Tested the same channel with the same user with VLC and it works.
