Just wanted to note that I've seen this, and that in the short-term resolving https://github.com/conda/conda/issues/14176 is preferable. Doesn't take away the value of this ticket of course.

Quick update about the status of Jazzband over at https://github.com/jazzband/help/issues/196#issuecomment-2961492508. I did just make you project lead @bckohan, though.

From looking at the contribution history of @uhurusurfa (https://github.com/jazzband/django-configurations/pulls?q=sort%3Aupdated-desc+is%3Apr+author%3Auhurusurfa+is%3Aclosed+), I don't see much to indicate that you have a proven track record to maintain the project and this request doesn't...
