Hey, its not currently possible to play flac/alac (+others) in the browser. I worked briefly on another project to support this using aurora.js https://github.com/audiocogs/aurora.js/

I figured there should be an issue for this. At some point I may look into hacking a bit on this myself. I had it working in the other project but never got around to a progress bar and more advanced features.

FLAC and Apple Lossless support would be awesome indeed ! i totally agree

FLAC is actually a must have for modern music library.

Hi, FLAC support would be great. My whole Music collection is FLAC and it plays great on the RPi+DAC+OSMC but sometimes I'd like to play it on the PC.

Does everything you need .. except flac streaming to browser - that would be an excellent addition! Maybe Flac.js is an option?
