If you need to you can downgrade desktop to 1.1.13 by using the download link and changing the version back. from here: https://neo4j.com/download-center/ Still investigating what the issue is.

Unfortunately it turned out there is a 2nd issue, related to the security settings. Desktop has much tighter security now but now way for apps to express their needs so...
but the jvm is bundled with desktop there is no variance across installations. Best would be to share the desktop logs (accessible from the help menu)
Did you spell the schema correctly? I'm not sure if sqlserver requires uppercase schema names. can you paste the: commant from `java ..` into the `Terminal` tab of your desktop...

Do you use a local or remote neo4j database? For the remote this issue will be fixed in the next release
