Find file errors on selection

I can do Ctrl-O just fine, but if I select a file then it doesn't paste it to the command line but tries to execute it directly?

alper.jpg                                                        
fish: Unknown command: alper.jpg
fish: 
 alper.jpg
 ^

I think for history search, it doesn't do this even?
