Linting for the conventional commit format.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm trying to get used to using git conventional commit format. It would be really nice if lazygit would remind me, encourage me.
Describe the solution you'd like It would be amazing if lazygit would help me by linting for this, for example using this linter this.
We could certainly add support for this, but I wonder if it makes more sense to just be a pre-commit hook? Lazygit will surface the error in any case
Oh, I hadn't thought of that. I'm kind of new to this stuff.
Unfortunately, I'm having trouble installing the pre-commit-hook haha. Hopefully I will make it work.
In any case, I think adding this to lazygit is a good idea but I understand maybe it is not high priority.

I'll give others a chance to thumbs-up this issue if they're in favour of the change, but if there's no interest after a while I'll close it off. Glad you got it working on your end though!
I want the c shows the command in the command output window but it is not interactive.
