Lazygit requires sudo in order to run

Describe the bug We have chosen "Lazygit" to be used with our Development tools sometigo ago. But lately after installtion in Ubuntu 18.04 using the suggested procedure, it only runs with sudo.

To Reproduce Just try to run lazygit, and it will hang.

Expected behavior Runs smoothly

  • Lazygit Version v0.27.4

Does it even show the lazygit UI?
And what is your git version?
