This was never finished, as neomutt alone won't sync folders, and won't manage your calendar out of the box. I am adding more data on how to do this. We'll go over:

• syncing your mail (offlineimap)
• indexing your mail (notmuch maybe?)
• securing your email (gpg stuff)
• contacts (khard maybe?)
• calendars (research needed)
