add support for vim bindings?

The actual implementation could be straightforward, as long as there is no key conflict. I would be open to such an addition, but do you have anything specific in mind?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about hjkl instead of the arrow keys.

What about adding it, but it would require a configuration option to enable it?

I've been using the Vi-patch for a decade now or something and it has worked fine for me.
