Android add to home screen not working like an app anymore

Recently when added to home screen from Android Chrome (and other browsers), it does not behave like an app amymore. It is just a quick link and still opens in Chrome. And each time you open it, there will be a new window in Chrome.

Since which version it's broken? index.html has not been touched for 5 years.

I'm using the latest version of Flood but I think it's related to changes from Android Chrome. I also tested it on ios Chrome, and it is fine.

I tried older versions of Chromium and it's fine. There must be some changes of Chromium which prevent PWA from working.

Looks like our manifest need some update for latest chrome.
