Project status 🚧

Hi all,

As you can see, I haven't been very active on the repository lately. I'm busy in many other projects and I don't have free time to go over the new issues/features here.

I'm still heavily using this component on my projects and it works well for my use cases, which is also another reason why I can't spend time implementing feature that I don't use myself.

If a company or an individual want to help me maintaining the project, let's talk about it, I would be more than happy to see this project implementing more useful features for people out there.

To help people that would like to contribute, I went through the issues and added a "good first issue" tag for the easiest ones to be implemented.

Cheers everyone,

Hi @jeremybarbet,

I am currently evaluating the use of your library in a project I'm working on, and I noticed that there are some open issues and pull requests which unaddressed for a few months.

Before proceeding with the integration of the library, I wanted to check in with you to get a better understanding of the library's current status and maintenance. Are you still actively maintaining the library? Is there a roadmap for future development? Are there any known issues or concerns that I should be aware of?

I would appreciate any information you can provide that would help me make an informed decision about using the library. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Hi @developerdhana,

As you can see in the commit history, I haven't really updated the library for a year. I started rewriting it using latest version of reanimated + RNGH here but never got time to finish it.

Open source is not my priority and I won't be investing time on maintaining the library any time soon.

I am still using this library in many apps that are in production and it works well for my use-cases. Many of the open issues are new features/or behaviours that are very specific to people use-cases.

https://github.com/gorhom/react-native-bottom-sheet is a good alternative.

Cheers,
