An issue to keep track of what terminology would be in a better engineered future version :) @gauteh feel free to edit too, and if you think this should live somewhere else (trajan?), let me know and we could move it.

• gnss_fix : a gnss fix

  • datetime_fix : an actual posix timestamp from an actual gnss fix
  • lat_fix : an actual lat in degree decimal from an actual gnss fix
  • lon_fix : idem for lon

• datetime_timestamp : any timestamp for a packet or similar, obtained by pulling the on board UTC clock
