I can't see the feedback at Apple either. I have made two test fonts, with and without the workaround, but can't reproduce the disappearing composites (in TextEdit on macOS 12.6...

It seems that if the subsetter is told to drop the `STAT` table, any user nameIDs referenced in it are still kept in the font.

I finally found some time to work on this again, and brought back the previous EQ options.

Thank you for your patience @arialcrime ;) v2.1.3 can finally handle glyphs with components and outlines.
