Schematic rework

Open fabianmuehlberger opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

Hi,

I noticed your project and I'm currently working on a rework of your not-so-ideal schematic and RT1062 Symbol. It's far from done, but this is what I got so far. https://github.com/fabianmuehlberger/Teensy-4.1-example

If you are interested in a merge, let me know.

Best Fabian

Hi Fabian, Sure! Did you test your version yet?

I just did the rework today and haven't run any tests on it The footprint didn't link from your fork, so this will be the first thing I check. Have you made your own footprint or where did you get it from? If it is well done I would use it too.

Heya, I can't remember exactly, but I'm quite sure that I used the generator built into Kicad. I've done 5 different boards using this chip & setup by now, so I'm quite confident that it works as intended.

@fabianmuehlberger got your board tested and verified now? If so, I'd love to include it?

not finished, I think I'm pretty much done with the USB and power section, divided the schematic into hierarchical sheets and drew a few nets new.

You might want to check it though, it's basically a new schematic, and open a new branch for my pull request @jenschr

Heya. I just had a look now. Looks like you never finished? At least, I can't see any power pins to the chip? ;-)
