Thanks, good points. Empty (optional) fields can be explicitly marked empty by putting a half-opaque "(empty)" or "(none)" in them but I think this would not be worth a patch....
This would be a HUGE plus for MMEX. We could probably remove a huge lot of - currently, and IMHO - dialogs that feel cumbersome in favor of in-place editing....
Did you publish this change somewhere? I'd like to play with it, especially how it performs when scrolling fast through a lot (>20,000) transactions.
