Way to create kraken style bracken report directly from .bracken file?

I want to create a kraken style report directly from some .bracken files that I have manipulated using the filter_bracken_out.py script from Kraken Tools (meaning I can't use the initial "kracken_bracken" file I created for that dataset).

Is there a way to do that? I would imagine creating a python script based on the src here is not too hard (although it is beyond me), as Imagine this would be useful to others as well.
