Migrate jira issues into Github issues
What feature do you want to see added?
We propose to use GitHub issues instead of Jira. Currently are used both. Please migrate jira issues to GitHub to eliminate effort by maintaining both trackers.

Is there any update on this? There are a lot of issues in JIRA which look like no one has ever had a look on them
@kutzi I gues no, there is no update. From time to time I checked the jira issues, but it is out of my scope. P will probably hide the option create jira issue, but I have no idea, how can be Jira issues migrated. probably is the best way to fix all of them ;-) Whn you have some idea, welcome
I think disabling the option to create new JIRA issues is a good step. I'll think about migrating my own JIRA tickets to Github, as they don't seem to get a lot of attention in JIRA.

About disabling Jira issue creation, you can open a help desk issue at https://github.com/jenkins-infra/helpdesk, a Jira admin will take care of it.
