[Java 17] Image name is using the -preview" suffix despite official support for Java 17

What Operating System are you using (both controller, and any agents involved in the problem)?

  • Debian Bullseye (11)
  • Alpine (3.15)

Reproduction steps

Open Docker Hub and confirm that most recent images do not have a previewsuffix. Three days ago, 5 of 5 produced images did have that suffix for JDK 17.

Expected Results

No preview suffix.

Actual Results

Includes the previewsuffix.
