Suggestion

I want to add a better UI here by adding the author description within the card and it's not good for mobile

I suggest either make the card bigger or smaller this depends on if we will add the description making them bigger will be the good option

This is a prototype of what in my mind if it got accepted I will share my full thoughts I just edited a one card which is the most left one as u see

The length of the description varies from a few words to a whole paragraph, if you truncate it, it may not be useful in some cases... Also IIRC the list of authors is not linked from anywhere so I don't think many people visit it => not worth investing much time. The improved usage of viewport width might be nice though.
