Bugs

Software is never perfect. There will always be bugs, but we want to make sure that you have the proper tools to report them to us. When you spot an issue in Nightingale, please open a new issue and include the following details:

• Brief summary of the bug
• What you expect to happen
• What actually happens
• Reproduction steps

The above details will help us work with you in fixing the issue.

FAQ

Why not open source the entire app?

• Nightingale licenses a third party control that requires a license key to use. Without the key, the app will not function correctly. Thus, open sourcing Nightingale has less benefit as contributors will not be able to debug the app.

Is there a way I can contribute to Nightingale?

• I appreciate the interest! However at this current time, Nightingale is not open source. The best way to contribute to Nightingale is to open bug tickets if you find some and by making feature requests so we can properly prioritize our backlog!

If you're not open sourcing Nightingale, why create this repo?

• The goal of this repo is to provide a method for people to report problems that will also allow for discussion. This method is easier than using Twitter, email, or other methods.
