Slow Media Transcoding causes a media not available error

It appears that any time that media needs to be transcoded be it due to incompatible subtitles or incompatible video formats, the web OS version will simply not play it and will time out after a while with an incompatible media prompt. Transcoding on the server side starts as expected but is apparently too slow for the client to react to initially, causing a media playback error.
