Audio won't transcode to Stereo

Changing the client settings for the audio to be stereo so it will be transcoded doesn't work. It still plays the original audio so there will be no sound since the TV cant handle the original audio codec. But when using the browser and setting the audio to stereo then the audio gets transcoded properly. Using LG CX, WebOS 5.0

What is the original audio codec? Is it DTS?

I have also tested this. It doesn't work for me either. The audio codec is DD 5.1 (ac3).

It's when a movies has TrueHD audio. Wont play the audio, but DTS-HD does
