Music Videos on Artist page?

I have a separate Music Videos Library set up but the videos are not showing up on the artist's page even though I've made sure to edit the metadata of the video to properly add the artist name. If I also add an album name in the video's metadata, it will then show up on that artist's album page. That is nice but obviously not all videos are from a specific album like concerts etc. so the video should show up on the artist page when there is no album mentioned in the metadata. I know this is possible because it did work for me once but only briefly before it disappeared and I don't remember what I did.
