Menu animations are 30 fps and laggy with video playing

Describe the bug When I use the video overlay menu on macOS, all animations are playing with 30 fps. For comparison, the web player in Firefox runs the animations with 60 fps.

Also, that is just the best case with the video paused. If video is playing, the animations are stuttering slightly together with the video.

To Reproduce Start any video, then click the subtitle button. Observe how the menu fades in with 30 fps.

Expected behavior Smooth 60 fps animations, like in Jellyfin Web.

I'm also experiencing this Issue on Windows while an episode is playing the UI of the player seems to lag a bit. if I pause the episode it goes back to smooth animations.

Same.. really wish there was a fix for it. Playback is smooth and fine.
