subtitle issues

Open cyberdynesoftware opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug

  1. subtitles don't go when turning them off while already playing a video (via the CC button). They do turn on though when previously turned off. Turning subtitles off prior to playing the video does work.
  2. It seems that external subtitles don't work at all. I have a movie with a subtitle file, but couldn't make it to display them. I've added another subtitle via 'edit subtitles'. After reloading the movie it showed up in the list of subtitles, but it wasn't displayed in the movie.

System (please complete the following information):

  • iOS Version: 16.1.1
  • Jellyfin Expo version: 43.0.0
  • Jellyfin Server version: 10.8.9

To Reproduce

see above

Expected behavior

  1. turn off subtitles while already playing a video via the CC button.
  2. display external subtitles
