Custom F-Droid repository for android apps

Hi,

F-Droid is so slow with updates. I would therefore like to suggest, just like Newpipe has done, to create a custom jellyfin repository for F-Droid.

Question for everyone downvoting this issue, why? If we create our own F-Droid repository we will still publish to the official F-Droid repository as well. Tt won't be a replacement but an addition.

I also dont understand.. But yes exactly as you say, Im proposing a added repository and not a replacement to the official f-droid. Just a possibility for us to download the updated apps, beta apps and other special apps from Jellyfin directly when they are available instead of waiting 1-2 weeks for F-droid to build it and make it available in their official repo.

Why this is "downvote material" I have no idea.. I even saw the dev of Jellyfin for Android promote this idea himself on another forum.

If it is not a replacement, I am fine with it. I just don't want the it to go from the official repository. If it is just an addition, I withdraw my downvote. :)
