Swiftfin doesn't appear to be properly cleaning up native player objects

Describe the bug

When exiting from a player session from the native player, it seems to linger in the background, causing the following symptoms;

• The screen stays rotated in landscape mode, i can't rotate it back
• The player appears in the notification center, as still in progress
  • I can press "play", and I get background audio of the thing I was watching, even though I exited the session

~~I just tested this on my iPhone 11 (iOS 17), this problem doesn't appear there. I think it's a quirk in the way players are handled in iOS versions 15-16~~

Edit: next comment alleges that it also happens in iOS 17
