Collections with Tags not Generating Archive

I have created a new collection, _pages_english, for the English language blog of a multi-lingual site. How can I get the tags in those posts to generate an archive in _site/en/tag/:name?

It would be great to be able to define the list of collections that should also be archived.

FYI - there is an open Pull Request for this feature here https://github.com/jekyll/jekyll-archives/pull/155

Let's hope this gets cleaned up and merged soon :)
