All Icons are missing from UI and replaced with placeholder graphic

Open Scrath1 opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

Describe the bug All icons are missing from the UI and they have been replaced with placeholder graphics. I have automatic updates disabled and as such don't think the issue was caused by an update. It occurred for the first time after a system restart and has not gone away since, even after reinstalling the application.

To Reproduce Don't know how to reproduce as I was unable to fix the issue in the first place. Uninstalling the program followed by deleting the entire installation folder and a subsequent reinstallation did not fix the issue.

Expected behavior Icons should be displayed properly

Same issue here on OSX, fresh install via brew.

Same issue. Windows 10, nothing (sonixd-relevant) changed, did an uninstall, cleaning, reinstall - still icons missing. With everything cleaned, fresh install on a new machine - even on the startup-screen the icons for "Dashboard", "Now Playing", etc... are missing :(

Anyone got an idea where to look?

Edit: found a similar issue from back in March here: https://github.com/jeffvli/sonixd/issues/428 ... sadly without further comments or a solution :( @jeffvli - any ideas?

I just noticed that the project is apparently being reworked with a new UI under a new name as feishin. I am not sure what caused the icons to disappear but the problem does not exist with the latest version of feishin so I will be moving over to that project.

This still classifies as a bug which should probably be fixed while this project is in maintenance mode so I will not close this issue. If the maintainers disagree, feel free to close though.

This seems to be something that comes and goes. I remember this being an issue back a few months ago and was fixed for a while.
