Porting to GRASS GIS
Hi @jeffreyevans, thanks for this toolbox I found it very interesting and very well documented. I was wondering if there is any interest in porting the GradientMetrics toolbox into GRASS GIS. I'm currently working on it.
I would be interested however, I have no experience programming in the GRASS scripting language. I can however, easily provide pseudo-code for any function. Most of the functions in the toolbox, along with many others, are available in the R spatialEco package and I am currently working on another package that provides a suite of metrics and utilities using SAGA as the processing backbone. That said, I would love to see this ArcGIS toolbox ported to an open source GIS. Feel free to email me directly ([email protected]mailto:[email protected]) to let me know how you would like to proceed and what you may need from me.
Best, Jeff

Thanks @jeffreyevans, I start to store some code on a repository which I will use for the porting. I'll drop you mail with some details. The initial code is available at https://github.com/epifanio/MGT
